Renowned organist Elena Sartori offers a mixed program of Italian and other European masters on the fine Holtkamp organ at James Memorial Chapel at Union Theological Seminary. Ms. Sartori was born in Ravenna, Italy and studied at the Musik Akadamie Basil, the Hochschule Mozarteum Salzburg, and the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart. She collaborates as both organist and conductor at the Ravenna Festival, MITO Settembre Musica di Torino, Sagra Malatestiana di Rimini, Teatro del Vascello in Rome, Accademia Musicale di Firenze, and many other European festivals. Her performances are regularly broadcast on BBC, RAI Radio, RAI 5, Radio France, and ZDF. As an organist and conductor, she has recorded CDs for the Classic Voice, Tactus, La Bottega Discantica, Amadeus, and Arts labels.
