Joyce Lewandowski, Director of Orientation and Activities
Joyce is originally from the Philadelphia area but has lived in New York City since 2007. She moved here to work in Student Life at Barnard! She specifically sought out to work at a women's college so naturally, she loves being a part of the Barnard community. As the Director of Orientation and Activities, her primary responsibilities focus on Fall and Spring NSOP, Senior Week, Senior Class Programming, McAC, and the Women's Leadership Retreat. During her free time she loves to bike around the city, play guitar, and go to the park with her dog.
Emily Shesh, Orientation and Activities Graduate Assistant
Emily is currently in her third year at Columbia's MFA Film program. She is originally from Long Island and has studied and worked in film and video production since 2008. The same curiosity about people and relationships that led her to storytelling has now led her to Barnard Student Life. This school year she will be working on Fall and Spring NSOP, various other Orientation and Activities programs, as well as with McAC on their many events.
